Jeffery brings a wealth of experience and expertise to CWW through his education and therapeutic experience. His education has a range of knowledge including; Human development, helicopter parenting in college-aged children, marriage and family therapy, and certifications in EMDR, EFT, and Eagala. Jeffery has experience working with clients who have many different types of struggles from self-harm, anxiety, depression, substance use, trauma, and faith crisis. Additionally, Jeffery has experience in working with developmentally delayed students and nonverbal learning disorders.
Jeffery sees therapy through a systems perspective, borrowing heavily from the third wave of behavioral therapy like Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) as well as evocative empathy and emotionally focused therapy. Jeffery is certified in EMDR and uses this practice often.
Jeffery and his Wife have been married for over 20 years. They have five children ranging from 17 years to newborn. He loves spending his free time with his family in the outdoors participating in activities such as; hiking, fishing, playing sports, coaching sports, and trying new things.
